colmfox@hotmail.comBorn in Dublin(Skerries) Ireland back in June 1973. Colm started his Sod Celtic career as a versatile midfielder but converted to goalkeeper because of his ability to catch a ball. Not many people know this but Colm a.k.a "Dr Rock" was the lead singer of the famous Dublin karaoke band BoboStumm.Dr Rock decided to move to New York in Dec '97 so we decided to replace him at the start of the season.

Martin was born in Charleston, Co Mayo Ireland.Played in Sod Celtics very first game at full back.He also captained the team the first year.He retired to due to old age and family commitments.
Eoin hailed from the Dublin ghetto of Cabinteely. Now lives in Brooklyn ,New York where he works as a rat-catcher.Boner played one game for us and missed a shot that defied all the laws of physics.Moved back to Ireland in late 1996 but returned to the US hoping to work in mail fraud.A position at the club could easily be created for the lad if he's prepared to take a bung.

Born in England, Pete controled the right full back slot when he was't earning a living! He also loved to go forward. A free kick and penalty specialist.
Carlo was born in Northern California near Sacramento. Played one season with us.A very likable guy who always tried his best when he played.Now plays for another San Diego team, KMA.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland George had great close control, scored some lovely long distance goals and was probably the most skillful player we ever had.Unfortunetly due to the work sitution George moved back to Scotland in December '96.
Another San Diegan in the squad. Aleck played defense and midfield. Actually alot more skillful than one would believe. Always fully commited.
Glen was born in the Plymouth infirmary, England.Didn"t get as many minutes playing as others but when he got on the field he played his heart out. Loved getting the tackles in, even if it meant missing the ball. Got better as the season progressed but called it a day because of family commitments. Plays for the Sod Celtic indoor soccer team.
From Tipperary, Ireland Graham was a very commited player.Transferred from midfield to centre forward and then scored in every game till the end of the season.Graham was a founder of the club.Moved back to Ireland in Sept '96.
Jim is from Morton in Scotland.Played semi-pro in Scotland.He played sweeper for us and was magic.Determined and passionate for the game he was the ideal man to clear up any mistakes.Jim also had to move back to Scotland because of the work situation in the shipyards in San Diego.Was spotted partying in Dublin by Graham O Connor in August '97
Ken decided his playing days were over half way through the season but did have the memory of a well taken goal.Was the owner of a very early 80's red headband which Im sure had an affect on the opposing goalkeepers.
Sean, played for the first 1 1/2 seasons for us.Got married in Vegas and from then onwards the married life affected his game.Left us half way through the season.As a centre back he scored a couple of goals.
Jeff spontaneously combusted during a league game late in the '95-'96 season.Hasnt been seen or heard of since.There is a reward leading to the finding of this truely talented goalie. Jeff if youre out there contact any official of the club.
John is from Balina Co Mayo, Ireland.He only played 2 games for us before moving to San Francisco.He recently got married to his childhood sweetheart and is producing babies back in the Old Country
Dermot, born in Roscommon Ireland.Played a few games with us but his number one passion was always the Gaelic Football.He owns 2 soccer shops and Sod Celtic has been indebted to him for two sets of uniforms in our first season, all the accesories the second.This year he sponsored the new shorts and socks.A real gentleman.
Ben is from Lynchburg , Virginia.Played very well while he was with us.He left us during the '96-'97 season mainly due to study commitments.A very nice fella with strong ties with Ireland.
